Is this wiring goodd???

Hey, I want to buy this wiring kit but want to know if its good, i dont get it when it says 200watt.. does that mean not more than 200watt power can be handled?? Or it doesnt matter. I wont be using more than 800watt rms.. I want to buy this wiring, do the wiring then buy the sub/box, amp..

Brand New Monster Cable 8 gauge wiring kit. Monster Cable is the #1 name in accessories and this kit will include: 18ft of8 gauge standard red cable, 3 ft of standard 8 gauge ground cable, in-line fuse holder with 30 amp fuse, 16th of 18 gauge remote turn on wire, 6 ft. of 1/4" split loom, 24 karat gold 8 gauge ring terminals one 5/16" and one 3/8".

we can't really tell you if that kit will work without knowing how much power you will be running. In order to recommend a kit, you have to know how much current draw you will have from your amp, how long the lengths of cable and wire need to be, and what your power output will be. But just by saying you will not have more than 800 watts makes me think this kit will be too small. You'll probably need at least 8 or 4 gauge power/ground wire and most likely 16 or 14 guage speaker wire. I would recommend the bigger wires to be safe.

take it back... waste of money.... just because its made by monster cable doesn't mean its going to handle any more power or have any less of a voltage drop.... check out ebay.... the 'voodoo' kits that i've seen arround are a good deal... but before anyone can suggest anything specific.. what exactly are you powering? that will pretty much determine what you need

I have a buddy who works at best buy... I got the $140 Fosgate 4 guage kit for $35 bucks. It works great. The solution- make more friends.

No... just find another brand. Monster has gotten wayyyy over priced. Most amp kits are pretty good. Just look for shielded wires and you know you're at least halfway decent.
