hi i want to take out my dash on my mk2 i have all the panels out, and have disconnected all the plugs, i took out the 4 bolts (2 on each side) but i can't get the top part of the dash out or loose, what do i do ?????

Yup....should be two up by the wiper assembly. I believe they are 13mm or 10mm......get those out and your golden
EDIT: Pull the plastic rain tray that covers the ecu and wiper assembly. Feel around(you cant see it do to the weird angle). Youll find one behind the wiper assembly and one 6 inches to the left of the wiper assembly.

yes....pop the hood...find the hood hinges. The plastic piece that covers the area in between and remove the plastic piece. Then you can feel around for the bolts...
