Got a Free Upper Strut Bar! (Will it Fit?)

The guy who gave me it told me it would fit mk2's, but Adam said it doesnt look like it will..
What do you guys think? It definitly is shorter on the right, and longer on the left, making it an offset.

it looks like it might....it would be much faster/easier to go try then it would to host pictures, post, and wait for replies. i know the scirocco 16v bar is offsett like that, but in the other way.

The top of the strut tower where it would bolt to is pretty wide. I think you could make it fit, maybe. Before you start drilling make sure to check clearances underneath though.
