Has anyone bought a rebuilt R32. The last two vw's I have owned were rebuilts and I haven't had a problem. Just wondering if anyone has bought an R32 rebuilt.

I bought a silver one from Underground (I have a few problems but nothing to tear my hair out over), it was totaled because the motor was hydrolocked.
On the black on your dealing with, I've seen quite a few detailed photos of when Jeff got it and during the repairs. The damage on that car was really very minimal and I was surprised the insurance company totaled it. In fact, from what I remember looking at the photos, my guess is that the damage was restricted to a few bolt on parts, heck, that car was just barely nicked a little...... I think you'll like it.

My damage was similar. In addition to the ones you listed I also had to replace air box, both fenders, and both lights. ended up getting HIDS!

I predict many - a - gremlin will be popping up in a year or 2 on that one... stay away.

Hey thanks. I try not to think about it. That was probably one of the worst nights of my life. Not just because of the car but because of how stupid I felt! At times I feel like getting rid of the car but in all honesty there is nothing wrong with it. It looks the same as I did the day she came home with me, except for all the wonderful mods. I have contemplated trading it in for a new S4! hmm??
