Picked this one up from the origional owner. 77k miles. Sharp and clean car. Freshly painted. This little guy is quick. Even got his origional purchase reciept from the dealer! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (german old school)

that is EXTREMELY clean. i would leave that car looking %100 as it is now! just restore it and keep it all original. but then again, its not my car. you can do with it what you wish. i would keep it in the garage, and drive it on the weekends like a grandma, so in 50 years, people can still see what a Scirocco is SUPPOSED to look like.
http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif on the beautiful purchase.

On second thought, I'd smash down one wall of my livingroom, drive that beast in, build the wall again and start my own small Scirocco Museum.

I'd do something similar, but I'd put it in my bedroom so I can make sweet sweet love to it....
Cmon.. It's Sexy!

Re:

No plans on racing it. And the cars interior and exterior will stay origional. The car is pretty quick stock, but the stock 1.6 motor and tranny keep me stuck in the slow lane on the freeway going 60 mph at almost 3500rpm. A person my age cant stand it for too long.A stock VR6 and 5 speed would provide that extra "umph" to get around La County. Thanks for the insight though.

A vr6 is going to require some cutting, welding, and bashing on that poor baby

A 16 valve with some minor mods you get:
1) Lighter weight (its a fact

)
2) Awesome gas mileage (You can pull 40 highway if you drive really good)
3) Enough power for a 2,000 lb car
4) Leave the engine bay unmolested
5) It bolts up to current motor mounts!!!

Re: (I heart beavers)

As for what can be done with that lil beastie (looks great, btw) you should check out http://www.funksoulkitty.org. Kirsten has done a lot with hers and also has write ups on other possible mods.
Me? I keep it stock looking but play with the power plant.
