yeah use a brush .... just make sure you dont leave any bristles behind . also you can use a couple of dabs to help hold the apex strips in place as you put it back together .. just make sure you work the strips in , in a fashion where you get the grease out from underneath them or else it will like hydro lock basically and hold the apex strip out too far

should i coat the whole part of the axpex strip that sticks out from the groove??
