anything over 220 on the 020 tranny isnt going to last long, your money would be better spent on an 02a conversion with at least a diff bolt kit http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
02a if your doing a 1.8t or anything thats going to make 220+hp
but if staying NA and under 200 horsies, 020 will be good enough with a diff

If your going boost in the near future, do it right the first time so you wont have to do it again. I've got boost and it is worth getting the full on LSD. I have the Peloquin LSD and there is a difference. I chose the Peloquin over the Quaife because the Peloquin kit comes with all the hardware and stuff, the Quaife doesn't. Also, see if Peter at http://www.thescirocco.com can get it for you cheaper. Best deal I ever made. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Save your money and get a true LSD.
I had their 80%. It was nice. Yet, when I went boost I had to get rid of it.

I am running both an 80%kit and a Peloquin LSD. Talking to Gary, he suggested the 80% kit to help preload the LSD. So far its working great but I am on a built NA 16V.
I just picked up a GLI with bad 020 and think an 02A will go in it from the start since boost is likely if I keep it.

but 02A is a cable change, right?
And for swap a 020 for a 02A, it will have to involve lots of diferent stuff, right?
And I will be running boost, if everything goes like I planed, but I will not race with it... much
