Re: (SkaJaCore)

that is awesome... I'd love to see an older guy with a dub lower than mine... And my neighbor, who's around 50ish, has an old school porsche carrera too.... I love coming home to seeing that car, even somewhat close to mine

Funny, my Dad is in his 60's (And I'm in my Mid 30's)..
I think there are Dad's (or men) who drive "Buick 4 doors" and then there are some who never fit that mold - like my Dad...
My Dad/Mom has had (since I was born)..
1966 Bug
1971 Bug
1969 Ghia
1975 Toyota Puckup (when no one dared to drive one)
1976 Toyota Celica ST (again, when few people drove them..)
1981 Dodge Rampage
1983 Subrau Brat
1983 Saab 900 Turbo
1989 Golf 2 door, but added fogs, and Cabrio wheels, Sunroof and A/C
1991 Mustang 5.0 Lx (Coupe!)
1997 Golf GTi (2.0)
2000 New Beetle
2001 Audi A4 1.8T
2005 Tacoma Pickup
Every single one of them.. stick, and with the exception of the Audi - a 2 door.. (He got the Audi to shuttle the older GP's around until they all died.. hence the 4 doors... ) Now they got the last 3 cars, and the Tacoma is because he has to drive onto construciton sites.. the Audi did not like that..
And while he's not into modding cars on a huge scale I did add an oil pressure gauge to the Audi.. because he felt it was lacking...
My point is, sometimes... you never need a midlife car - because you never fell into the "We got a minivan and a sedan" mold that SOOOOOooo many people fall into.

She's not super slammed, but then I drive over 30,000 miles a year on Maine back roads.
