Re: neuspeed triangular tie bar (vw16v88)

yes thats it..is it hard to install, the guy doesn't know anything about the bar, he bought the car from the original owner, and he had it installed..is the bar pretty srraight forward to install..when the car flexes, does it pull the holes bigger where the bolts go..

best bar on the market, Had one in my A1 & A2. You loose hatch space, but it helps during corner braking, and stiffins the chassis.
Nutserts, if installed correctly do the job.
Attatches as shown. nutserts in shock towers & floor, and 2 bolts to where bumper attatches. Stiifens the entire rear end, not only prevents incresed camber, but unibody twist. Great aid in keeping the rado tight & squeek free.
Expensive($300) new.
No, the holes should not stretch, etc.

Nutserts are an interesting little gadget. Hollow shouldered tube with an internally threaded insert in one end. It is pulled (compressed) to fit into a hole in any sheetmetal, and if installed correctly, hold airplanes together...And, Yes, they come with the bar when purchased new, or can be purchased separately.

Simply remove one bolt, if it threads out normally, then, yes, the bolts are anchored by the nutserts. If it will not easily remove, it is possible that the nutserts are not installed properly ,or nut/bolt was used.
