I have a 337 ok lately i have had a few problems o2 sensor maf sensor and coil packs. so i get all that fixed. my freind is getting rid of parts for his gli so i bought his n75 race valve. ok here is my ? for you guys i have a k04-oo1 and revo chip 2.5 inch down pipe 4bar fpr. when i shift into 5th and 6th i hit 29 to 30 lbs of boost and it quickly tappers off to around 22lbs . now i know the k04 is bigger but i know it's not supposed to run 30lbs of boost what is the problem i have no clue.

well i have had two diffrent gauges in the car and both read the same. it does not hold 30lbs is just kinda spikes there and tappers off but takes longer than normal. what could be the problem do i need to adjust the waste gate i dont think the shop that installed the k04 adjusted it at all.

Its the N75 valve, the H will allow for some serious spikes with a K04.
I saw the same thing on my car. With the stock N75 it was hitting 25psi. With the H valve spiking at 28-29psi, which would throw me into soft limp half the time.

Its a specific K04 spike, having to do with the K04's power curve and the N75H valve that causes the big spikes. And there is nothing to "tune" to get rid of that spike. Anything over 25psi is outside the K04's efficiency anyway.

You can't just take a 1.8T to any ole shop and have them "tune" it.
The most they could do for this problem is install a manual boost controller and use that inline w/ the N75 to stop the boost spikes (which you could easily do yourself). I have the "race N75" on my KO3S w/ a MBC and only see 21psi and tapers down to about 15-18 depending on RPMs.

ok so what you guys seem to be saying is that this in normal for a ko4-001 that has been chipped. also i dont have the H n75 valve i have the ecs tuning race valve i think it is the j valve is that why it goes to 30psi intsead of 25psi.

1. Is it the K04 file?
2. Get a manual boost controller and get rid of the N75. Both hoses into the MBC and just leave the N75 plugged in electronicly. Set the boost to whatever you want.

If you keep this 30psi sh it up, kiss your rods good bye.
