i was just wondering what the screw is for on the top of the bov it says hard on one side and soft on the other. what happens if i mess with that, what is it used for.

You need to turn it to hard if you're running high boost. Turn it more towards soft if running low boost. Mine was adjusted almost all the way soft when running ~7-7.5PSI otherwise the BOV wouldn't open. I emailed Greddy about it and they sent me adjustment instructions.

I haven't hooked mine up, but the other reason is to make sure that the BOV isn't open during idle.

well my friend has one also and his opens up on the ligthest touch of gas and mine wont open upin 1st until i am at like 2500 rpm and it makes a really loud sound when it opens. my friends isno where near as loud as mine. Does this have anything to do with it being motronic.
