I've searched on the tex for some reviews on the Eurogear R32 front bumper and have found a few people that say it's crap. Are they crap in general or is it that just these few guys had issues? I'd really like to go OEM of course but they cost major $$$. Any opinions would be appreciated.

It's beleived that their mold isn't close at all in terms of tolerances...
Making it difficult, but not impossible for making adjustments and required body work to have it fit on.
Ask Eric @ SETuning.com and he'll tell you his experiences with the fascia.
Fit + finish it not really close at all.

My car is Silverstone but I'd be willing to buy an OEM one used for the right price. I could always sand down the original color. I'm pretty much getting a crapload of bodywork done and my insurance is paying for most of it so I could just use that money to paint the bumper.

It's well known that the Eurogear bumpers don't fit well. There is also some issues w/ heat and the bumpers disforming. I didn't see it personally but I've heard alot of comments about this after this years Waterfest.

Had the kit... Couldn't stand when it got hot and sagged everywhere. It cost me more than an OEM kit would have to get to fit right... It's ok though. I sold it for a good price to a nice eager asian kid down the road from me..... He doesn't talk to me anymore...

Re: (LETTERMAN52)

ok here's the thing about eurogear.
yes, you can get it to fit decently well. however, it's like a fragile piece of art--you sneeze on it and it's ****ed. and what if you have to change your headlight? or remove the bumper for any of 101 reasons? you have to go through that fitment process all over.
seriously, it's not worth your time nor your effort to get a eurogear kit. save a couple bucks and be happy with your decision to go oem.
and if you're thinking about getting it for a jetta, then go custom and mold an oem bumper and be a true pimp.
