saw it, they liked the focus...
the review doesnt take into account the flimsy backboard that groceries will kill in no time flat, and bolts that were already rusting..or maybe the focus is a lot better thant he fiesta.

Thanks for thewarning... I missed the review... I take it they liked the Focus, but what was the overall view, and which models Astra and Focus did they test?
It wasn't a real comparison. They had the Golf and Astra along more for comparative footage rather than actual driving. Their overall view was the Focus has noticably sharper steering and and handling than either the Astra or Golf, and being quite a bit cheaper (in the UK anyway) is excellent value. Essentially it's as good as the old Focus, but with better quality, interior space and ride comfort.

I believe the Astra and Golf were diesel also. Basically they liked the Focus but said it had boring looks. There was also a C4 in the studio which had a very brief apperance and they said it looked great.
Was it me or did they cut and paste different episodes together because i think i've seen the Enzo episode and remember it being different?

YES. Thats why I havent watched the show.
I recon that they are cutting/pasteing episodes so it is up to date with what Australia is up to in the world scene.
Cant wait till I got the money to move somewhere that things are up to date, unlike in Aus....

d/l the latest episode - the episode on SBS is behind...
but no the stig did not run the veyron around the track.
edit: however the veyron would eat up anything in a straight line!

No, they couldn't get the Veyron to be tested by the Stig. In fact the one they had in the studio was a hot air balloon that looked like a Veyron and no, I am not joking either.

That is funny. Must have been a fairly realistic balloon... or did they point out that it was a balloon? I would love to see a three way test: Veyron vs Enzo vs Carrera GT....
