G60 Corrados???

i have been seeing a few for under 2grand, now should i keep looking or should i run as fast as i can??? i'm looking for a new vw project/ daily driver, and what should i be looking for when buying?

A good start would be to read the G60 FAQ up top. I say this because the list of things to look for on a G60 are numerous and would take awhile to list.
But, under 2K I would be very leary. Basic questions, does the battery hold a charge. pull the outlet side boost tube and look to see if there are any apex strips hanging out, does the sun roof work, does the wing work.........etc. etc.
Like I said the list goes on. My recomendation is find some one on here selling their c, who is in most respects, a reputable person.
OH one more thing, G60, Project, and Daily driver don't go with each other.

We picked up ours for $1000. Got $4000+ in it and still not done. No matter how you look at it. G60s are about 15 years old and they will need work one or another way.

yea i read the post up top, and i'm already some what familiar with corrados, just never looked at buying one. and for that price i consider one? and i'm handy with tools, and i still have a few hook ups for parts as well. are they just not desirable any more??? and if i can get one to last for about 6months, i might have some money for a 1.8t, but then again the G60 was really fun in my A1 jetta

Pretty much what he said and save money for parts for when something breaks.

i dumped around 15k into mine... and still stuff broke and even the sunroof didnt work... i would say get yourself around 5k and lowball the **** out of someone thats put a crap load of money into theres... i took 5500 for mine so i know it can be done... good luck you will never find a car that is more fun to drive then a C, but thats only when it is running hahaha
