Well...after much mulling over....I have purchased a 99.5 MKIV Jetta GLS....Black....abandoning my MKIII love. I've traded in my 96 G3, which I bought new. She served me well for 136k with very little maintenance......I bought the Jetta for under 13K with about 35,000 miles. Does that seem about right....maybe even a bit low actually....good deal.
I have a friend that purchases off lease cars....so, the strange thing is...I haven't even seen the car yet but I've been assured that it is a creampuff...perfect interior/exterior and mechanically sound as can be.
What I need to know is what does the GLS trim level include?....I know the basics but want some input from those that know what they are talking about with regard to the MKIV world. I've been driving VW's for ever 12 years now....not the signature for some of my past dubs.....
The car does not have alloys but I am planning on ordering something prior to pick-up to be mounted on the car....and not too costly. Here's what I have in mind so far Borbet Type B or C or AT Sport Italia Spa's. Sticking with the 15" for the time being.....
