Re: (VDubbFreak1983)

I mounted Mine in the Cupholder too. It was supposed to be kind of temporary until I found a better way to set it up. I plan on hardwiring the power source. I will probably just splice into the cig lighter wires.
Here ya go...

Its like paying for HBO over a regular cable channel. You still pay for regular radio, but its with 100 commercials every hour.
XMs music channels are completely commercial free, and with all that extra time for music, you get to hear a lot more than the 10 same songs you hear on regular radio.
There are uncensored channels (Music, Talk, Comedy) where they dont chop your music to bits, but then still family safe channels for when you need,... er want that for whatever reason. You get sports with a ****ton more variety than regular radio, with very few commercials.
Then theres the talk you wont hear on regular radio, XM has Opie and Anthony, bob edwards, and sirius just got Stern. all of these shows can do a lot more than they could on regular radio. and theres a ton more than that...

I've got an XM roady2, mounted where StealthTDi's(yeah i saw it and had to do it) is mounted, hardwired and wires hidden, its a nice setup

Re: (2.slowMK3)

I have a digital receiver in the trunk, with a pioneer head unit. Very seemless install, and I spliced it into the cig lighter wires. That's some good stuff.

Couple advantages...UNCENSORED MUSIC and comedy stations.
Then yet if you're a Howard Stern fan, you can listen to Stern UNCENSORED on Sirius radio. I'm not a Stern fan, but every once in a while I'll tune into Howard 100/101.
Plus you can listen on the same station from one end of the state to the other end without static or stations switching on ya...
For example on terrestrial radio stations...you're on a cross country drive and you're listening to a great rock song you haven't heard for a while,.next thing it turns into some Mexican/hispanic or a hiphop station or you get static in between stations. Then you have to find another rock station as you enter another city/town or pop in a CD/ipod.
I've been a Sirius subscriber for over 2 years and loving every bit of it,
