hey what's up man ....welcome to the vortex....most people run diverter valve instead of bov...very easy mod to do...check on the diy and or just type in dv in the search...and post up some pics of the car too

welcome to the tex. first off you may want to check out the golf/jetta mk4 forum as that is what car you have. this forum is for the 337 gti, 20th anniv gti, and the 2004.5 jetta gli. at the top of the page you will find a DIY/FAQ thread. everything you need to know is in there. anyways congrats and welcme to your newest obbsession.

yeah man welcome to the vortex, enjoy your car. i would personally get exhaust and chip first of all but most people go with a diverter valve intead of a BOV, Consider Forge 007. I also hear of recurcilating BOV's or something, GReddy Type-S or whatever, im not sure on the exact model.

I have a BOV (I like the sound) and it works fine for me. It's an adjustable GFB BOV so I can close adjust the opening and recirculate some of the air. If my APR chip is on then I usually have it open and it runs fine, without the chip it stumbles at idle.
