this guide includes pictures to help you fill up your tank with gas. it includes notes on things you can do while you're waiting.

these are the two indicators that your gas is low. one is that the arrow is towards the left (in the red). the other is that a chime will sound.

find a gas station asap or you'll run out of gas like my dad has!
pull into the gas station and find an empty pump. park such that the pump is on your RIGHT.
find your gas tank release switch.

pull up on the switch.

make sure your car is off or it'll go BOOM!

walk around the car (to the passenger side) and you'll see that the gas cover is cracked open. if it's not then go pull the switch again.

fully open the cover.

turn the gas cover counter clockwise (right tighty, lefty loosey) and place onto the gas cap cover. there are two notches to help it sit properly

pay either by using a credit card or by going inside to pay. the method to use your credit card entails you pushing the card in the slot and then pulling it back out.

remove a pump and place into the gas tank. i polluted, the fume cover was missing!

go back to the pump and flip the handle up. these two pictures will help show you what to do.

go back to the gas pump and pull the handle up. push the slide forward to lock it into place.

you can clean your windows now!

you can throw out your trash!

when the pump is done, it'll stop making noise. it'll also make a loud noise as it comes to the end.

place the pump back into the receptacle

remove your receipt

replace the gas cap. read the warning on it! you must turn it so that it clicks several times (ensuring that it is fully seated). also, close the door cover.

restart the car, and yay! the light is gone and the needle is near full! the needle might take a little while to go to full!
