Maybe from Cali, but recently I've seen two way flights for $550 or so from the east coast. That still leaves plenty to spend, and of course, since you're making it a vacation, you spend some of your own vacation money too. Sounds pretty good to me.

Considering you can get steep discounts on the 9-3 and 9-5 sitting on the lots, 2k pales in comparison. It all depends on the difference between Euro Delivery price/dealer lot price.

uh its not just the 2k they give you cash, they knock like 4k off the MRSP...and you get the experience of a lifetime. It's one of the most amazing deals imo in the car market. Unfortunately canada doesnt offer it, and if you buy a saab new in the usa and import it to canada they cancel the warranty.

4k? That's it? Check out the discounts people are getting on the 9-5's, etc. Did you know you can still 'get the experience of a lifetime' by renting a Saab or whatever car you choose when you arrive in Europe.
Oh yeah, you also won't have to wait a month for your car to arrive back in the states while you're still making payments on it (if this program is like some of the others out there)

We're looking into getting a 9-3 SportCombi sometime in the fall and I think this is the route we're going to go... been looking into it for about a year now. If they want to knock a bunch of dough from MSRP (most end up being below dealer invoice IIRC) PLUS give me $2000 in travel money, hell yeah I'm gonna do it. S**t, who cares if I make a payment on it while it's in transit? I'll drive the hell out of it for a few days in Sweden... that's like 3 weeks of commuting in Detroit.
