yes..
my general understanding is that a racing ticket is worse than a normal speeding ticket. At the very least it lets the judge know that you were doing more than just driving fast, right?
I'm sure there's someone on here who has a more definitive answer though...

speeding is a traffic violation.
most cases, racing is a felony (lowered to a gross misdemeanor (sp?) if you kiss ass) and will at the very least get you arrested on the spot.

Well i realized that, as well as i know that a wreckless driving ticket is worse than a speeding ticket too, but how much worse is a racing ticket to lets say wreckless. My friend just got pulled over for racing, but didn't get a ticket. He was just told that he would get a court date mailed to him, and was let go....

racing IS wreckless driving. Both are felonies & require a lawyer that is going to cost at LEAST $1,000. Most good ones charge $1,500 -$2,000 for it. He is screwed financially on this just from lawyers fees reguardless if it's dropped to a lesser crime

Non warranted arrest. Catch and release...
Get arrested, given a court date and then released. Sometimes they can be ***** and hold you in jail until your "next day" court hearing screw going in on a Friday night

well at least if it is concidered a recklous drivin they have to proove that you/him were trying to put peoples lives in danger or doing it to hurt people.
