I miss the VW scene, but I went back to a German car for my wife. Child #2 is coming in 2 weeks, so we wanted an SUV with 3 rows. Anyway, this is the work so far on our 2001 ML.
Not to generalize, but a mod to a lot of MB guys is buying chrome AC trim rings or tail light surrounds, things like the 2006 w164 grille retro just catches people off guard and it took me about 40 minutes to do.

01 ML? Looks like you also updated the headlights to 03?

So far: debadge, headlights, foglights (Hella 90mm low beams), 2006 grille, smoked lights, 3/4" front lowering and wheels. Decent for the first 45 days of ownership... Thankfully, it was a Sport edition, so the AMG bumpers and flares are factory.

Grrrrr. Most SUV's (including the MB line) have the 3rd row in the crumple zone for the rear. Please look up the stats on it for your car before you use it on a regular basis.

It won't be used often (when in-laws fly in, once a month to haul kids around in a pinch, etc), so it shouldn't be a problem. Wheels are Mille Miglia A-SUV 20x9.5 with 295/40. Are you passat guys thinking what I'm thinking? 5x112...

Jeramy. Long time no See! Congrats on the soon to be new arrivial. My wife is expecting in August too. Nice to see you've gone back to German cars, however that Volvo you had/have is pretty damn sick. You still got that thing? So when you going to get a VW again?

Now that would be hot! Does Jason still have the white Eurovan? They were cheap, too.
