i mean if they're high strength and the exact same size? tired of having to replace them.
is it OK to replace engine mount bolts with non stretch bolts?

if you replace them....i strongly suggest you get ones that are at the least the same tensil and shearing *i think thats the word i want* strength.....

how does that make sense? if i get (i think its called) 10.9 bolts, those are super strong but i dont think they are stretch. so i wouldnt need to replace them every time i remove them. my question is: why wouldnt i do this?

if you're constanting servicing an item the makes you remove those stretch bolts all the time..... I can see why.
If once in a blue moon you need to remove the stretch bolts... I'd just stick to stretch bolts--- to me, it depends on frequency of service

i see what you mean. just seems to me like i always have to move the engine a little this way or that (means removing the bolts for some engine mount, usually dogbone) to get at something or other. maybe i should stop "fixing" things that aint broke ;-)
