570whp out of an R32? Or was I tricked..

A freind of mine says his buddy's R32 is dynoed at 570hp to the ground. He told me it has a "$18,000 twin HKS turbo system" and an "Euro S4 computer and ignition". He went on to say how the owner lives in Florida, yet had it tuned in Pittsburgh, and how the tuner said the motor would last 2 years tops because of the S4 electronics. I don't know much about R32's, but anything over 300hp seems like alot for any VW, haha. Is this kid bull****ting me, or am I just naive?

My first question was if he meant an R32 Skyline, not a VW, but he insists its a VW...

Skyline for sure, no HKS system for the R32 that I know of. Maybe he meant HPA in which case it coule be entirely true becuase there is an HPA twin turbo R32 running around Orlando.

This kid exagerates alot so I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's just making everything up. He said he drove the car, and it's not a Skyline.

He meant Skyline R32 (or is full of it). Those kind of numbers are not at all
uncommon at the rear wheels for the truly big hp Skylines, Supras.. etc.
Dunno why your friend would bother with S4 computer though.
HPA's highest hpGolf R32 is around 400awhp (about 550 crank)
and EIP's got one that put down 585awhp, but that setup is not available
for sale.

The R32 skyline is also AWD, but still, those numbers are not close to unheard of for that monster.

He may have got the numbers wrong. I think QBN managed to get 520 to the wheels.

Well the horse power is possible. I read that Eip is pulling 750hp on that Stage 4....I wish mine R32 was a monster like that....

I thought that was haldex disconnected doing just a fwd dyno, i never heard of EIP doing a awd run with that one or those awhp numbers.
