Re: (veedubsport)

You can always raise the car or lower after u put the Spacers and make it fit, and look good.. The best thing to do, from personal experince is 5mm in the front,a nd 15mm in the rear, and it'll be perfect...

Car looks awesome, I'm considering Koni coilovers myself. Where'd you get them, and how's the ride? Any other rubbing issues besides when you had people in the back? Thanks! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

We have a special on them here: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2206611
but we are temporarily out of stock, as soon as Koni get's a new shipment in, we will post them up on special again. PM me if you want to be contacted when the next shipment arrives http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (GLI86)

hey iam not a hater but, why did you park half on the curb half off, doesnt that give the illiusion that it may be lower than it really is? also you guys talk about removing the rear perch for a lower drop, i never removed mine and i think mine went low enough!

Whats low enough?? And the parking is not an illusion, just look at the wheels tucking, the car is that low... But you werent trying to be a hater, so its ok to be ignorant... But you have coils too so u should know and look at the wheels not, the ground... specially if the car is parked half in grass, and half in pavement...

KW's are more expensive but better quality...

Re: konis installed (vpsanti)

In order to raise and lower it, do you have to take the shocks out or something, or can you just jack the car up and make the adjustment?
And lets get a pic from the front, I wanna see how close the lip is to the ground!

Re: konis installed (veedubsport)

when you remove the rear perches u lose your adjustability.......but who really adjusts the rears anyways....the fronts you need to worry about being to low more then anything......

Just jack the car up, grab the key and turn, make sure to keep in mind how many turns so its even!! and then lower the car and its done!!

Re: konis installed (vpsanti)

i finished the fronts this morning and I am doing the rears tonight. Going with no perches too. I laid the front all the way down. Easy install too. Just don't try it without spring compressors. no room and the a-arm does go down very far. Konis rock.
