i had the RS, save ur time and money it doesnt work to well unless u like restarting ur car every once in a while while driving

and a dv and cai is louder than the RS is recirculated, and its only a little louder, if at all then a dv anc cai when its in atmospheric mode
lesson= get a dv and intake

I actually have a forge dv and a cai....but wante something a little more "chirpy" at shifts.....i tried reversing it, but it's actually quieter.....but yeah, not sure what bov or dv would give me that sound instead of just a woosh.......anyone else with pics/ sounds???

sell ur forge and get a hyperboost, it sounds much better than my bov did, which was just a woosh that fluttered a lot which was annoying and bad for the turbo
a reversed hyperboost gives a nice loud woosh and then when ur on it it will chirp like crazy if thats what u want, im just warning you, the greddy rs doesnt work to well, it didnt work for me and the guy i sold it to said it didnt work at all on his car, the only bov i've heard that has success SOMETIMES is the HKS SSQ

wow u ran the 2ndary nipple. howd that work out? i wanted to run it like that but never got around to rerouting some hoses.

i have the acid blue compax one, it sounds really good, i currently have it in regular but think im goin back to reverse since it held boost a little better
and fluttering has to do with pressure getting back towards the turbine from what i heard

mine flutters as well. can someone explain why its bad for the turbo?

and also has to do with not enough vacuum to hold the valve open soo the boost pushes it open but it will snap back and forth if the spring is too hard causing the boost to be stuck in the pipes

so....pretty much creating more strain on the turbo between shifts iff all the boost isn't released...makes sense i guess.....looks like i need to either put a differnt sping in my forge vavle...or buy a hyperboost!!!

if the spring is too hard the boost wont be able to get out, if its too soft it will leak, see what psi ur runing and then put in that spring

how does the type S sound the the 2nd nipple hooked up...cuz i only have one hooked up....are you supposed to use both and if so how do i do that??...please help
