OK, it seems that Spring is here...just in time for Full Moon / Full Throttle 18!!!! We are going to be having the latest in our monthly cruise series from Deer Park to Riverhead Friday, April 19th.....help us break our record of 107 cars.....
NEW MEETING POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be using a new meeting point in order to accomidate the growing size of this event. It will be at the Park & Ride at the Commack Road Exit off the LIE, exit 52. Once you get off the exit, goto the light, and the lot is diagonally on your right. This will enable us to run the event better, as we wil be leaving in 4 groups...this time no one will be confused as to when to leave. DPA is getting heavy in police patrols as the summer appraoches and there are too many lights for the number of cars we have.
The Commack Road exit is one exit east of the DPA/Route 231 exit.
We will meet 8:30p, with roll off at 9:30 sharp.
Also, I hate to have to say it, but dont be a slob....all the garbage that was left last time almost got us all tickets....thanks to Andy and Greg for helping me pick it up and helping us all avoid a ticket....we are not having the cruise so we can play babysitter....

As usual, this event is open to all VW/Audi owners and is a lot of fun. Please be sure to bring a full tank of gas, a jacket and your Motorola Talkabout style FRS radio set to channel 6.6 [a/k] has put a lot of effort into the planning of the route and running of this event, and I think it really shows. We will use our winter route and if you ask those that joined us in March, I think they will tell you they are some of the best roads in NY. Feel free to e-mail me for specific questions, and if you are coming from a bit further away post here so others can work out caravan details with you. We hope to see all our friends come out for the event NY will be talking about for months.....
