does anyone have any pics or info on a 77 wolfsburg.
my dad got one after he tolted he 76 back in the 80's, and sold it maybe 10 years ago cuz it was just sitting in the garage, and i cant remember what it looked like. all i remember is it had stock recaro's and an airdamn. he kept the car stock except for lowering it 2", rear swaybar, and some pirelli tires.
any info or pics would be great

Did it look like this? Notice the orange strip down the side.

yeah, id say that probably it
my dad had recaro's and the "optional" passanger side mirror, and i cant c in the pic, but he had a little airdamn, which he replaced with a bigger one

Then it was a Champagne Edition I. Had the Recaros. Not sure what others things made it unique other than the yellow orange stripe. My Dads first Scirocco and probably the best one. Wish we still had her in the family.

Some more pics. Some after the repaint. Notice no triple yellow-orange stripe. Couldn't even get'em in 1983.

yeah, my mom had a 78, and my dad said it was a piece of crap compaired to his 77, now im trying to find out who he sold it to, so i can get it back

The '77 was better, 1.6 (1588 cc), first year with fuel injection more Horsepower, than the 1.5 (1457 cc) in the '78, also fuel injection, but slow.
