Just a quick question regarding tail lights

I got these Euro GTI tails from MJM. I was told that these were the darker version (which is what I was looking for), but the other day I parked next to another GTI with the same tails, and his definitely looked darker than mine. Here is a pic of the tails. Do these look like the OEM or the darker versions? Maybe it's just me, but I figured I would get some other opinions.
And if they are the lighter versions, does anyone want to trade?

im more then sure the ones on your car right now are OEM gti tails.. and your buddy or whoever's car you parked next to have the hella RSSR tail lights.. not the same

That's what I'm thinking. I wasn't sure because the other car was silver, and I thought maybe the lighter paint was making the tails visually darker.

Argh! Does anyone out there might want to consider swapping their darker versions for the lighter version ones I have? I just got mine maybe a month ago.
Or does anyone know where I can get the " DARK " versions?

Yours are OEM.... I thought the same thing when I bought mine thinking they were going to be darker.

be patcient..im sure someone will come around and wanna trade.. try puttin it in the classifieds..and just keep bumpin it up

Better yet, buy the darker hella tails and sell your current OEM rssr tails.
Clean, almost new tails should go for about 75-80% of retail. Anywhere from $130-150 if new tails retail for $180-190.
Personally, I think your car looks fine, but everyone is more critical of their own work.
Someone local has to want new tails in good condition for less than brand new tails.
