anybody have any info?
what is the basis of the widebody? i'm guessing it's custom, but what was the starting piece? is that an oem front?
what about wiper?
what about width of wheels?
or material for widebody?
what engine and engine work?
anything at all is cool, just curious

that's a single round radiator support. (stock on several rabbits.)
you hit the nail on the head with custom widebody... you can start with trailer fenders to make an uber-sweet one. old school single wiper thats a custom job. ugly imo. no clue on the actual width of how they did it or engine work... looks like they put some sweet spacers and wide a$$ wheels on.

Photoshop for sure...

looks like it... but it has been done before...

I have a bit of info on that specific car, but not heaps.
It's a 1600cc block with a 16v head. It makes 237ps at 8,700rpm.
I've a damn good video of it in action, which I can host if need be...

Wow...you are new, aren't you? That car, as stated above is one from the Berg Cup, a premier road race series in Germany...Those aren't "trailer fenders", but custom or storebought race ones (There are several different variations)..As for the Single wiper, you can use one from: A Scirocco I, modify your existing linkage (and straighten the arm)...or...get this...STILL available, the Bonrath mono wiper...
The cars run motors depending on class, but a lot of the cars use ultra modified 1.6 liters, similar to what Super Vee used to run, with a sequential gearbox or similar (Gemini, Quaife) I think..THINK, mind you, there's an under 2.0 class as well...
And there aren't spacers, that's all wheel under there....

Re: anybody have info? (dubdaze68)

bodz kits are fibreglass and have a 4" flare, you can buy them somewhere but sorry i dont remeber ( although im sure someone knows.this one runs a 2.0 16v iirc
13x8 inch wheels.
totally stripped with full cage, one carbon seat, and custom race half dash...
pretty sure this car run custom KW indepentdant suspension.
dont really know much about the transmission but its either sequential or quick shift...
the ignition system is msd...
the owner of this car is on here somewhere hopefully hell see this and give the info and correct anything i have gotten wrong..
Peace, pedro

definitely interested as to what the 4" flare kit is that you can buy?
and would be cool to hear from the owner
i've just always liked that car and would like to have one that looks like that someday...not really soon though

Re: (dubdaze68)

Talk to XkromX or what ever his name is today. He can get you the complete kit. But its not something for a street Rabbit.

Ohh and people please search this is starting to get annoying. Anyone think the OP actually has a Mk1 or even intends to build a Mk1 track car??

Re: (Cabby-Blitz)

OH...
um maybe he just bought one, or is thinking of buying one...
maybe he just wants to make a crazy looking inpractical street car...
maybe he does want to build a track car, 19 isnt too young or anything...
i dont think this thread is stupid there must be 1 million threads in search for wide body, if he didnt know what the berg cup was then its likley he will take along time to find the right posts.
plus he was just asking bout an mk1, isnt that what this forum is about?..
chill cabby chill
