Did u paint those flakes urself? im about to get my summer tires, i've got the weeekend before i can get them put on and aligned. im already doing a badgless grill DIY 2morrow.

Interior shots as requested, anything aluminum, I made on a Mill or Lathe at work.

Old petals were slippery on a rainy day plus old, made new ones, gas still needs to be done...no time.

Mirror adjusting knob, was bored, made my own on a CNC lathe, if enough people wanted I could machine a bunch and give em away for free at meets.

Rear seat access thingy...The old one was plastic and broke so I machined my own.

Problem is, it's expensive to make and takes time...people dont wanna pay the price that makes me break even, without profit they throw fits. I remember at a meet people wanted the GTi grill emblem (which I make with an anti theft mouting clip that squeezes the grill and can only be removed from the inside of the engine bay, but nobody wanted to pay the 20$ for em...canadian...that kinda of plastic plus me painting them and making up the mounting system is 18$ in materials with a 2$ labour charge...no profit and people pouted...I could make stuff for people, but everyone is so lowballed on here...

Thanks for the comments guys, makes me feel good for all the time put into it. I keep getting offers to sell my car but that's one of the reasons why I won't...I love it and I put too much sweat and blood into personalizing it, it'd be ****ty just to let it go.

Know why they dont fill the wheel arches? The tires are 45's as opposed to the 60's....I got lower profile to be lower and my car is built around reving quick, most of my motor is lightened, lifters and such to achieve a quick rev to 5000rpm, will smaller tires it gets there even quicker. It's just an 8v, but a decent 8v...which really isn't that cool...but meh. Still waiting for the 16v....

why do a 16v, put a vr in it! makes more sence. nothing wrong with your car i love it. but why swap a motor into a car, that already comes stock with it. well which ever direction you choose good luck and keep up the good work. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
