get xm radio. it is doing much better. i don't even think sirrus is realeased yet???? they keep pushing it back. xm is supposed to be doing good as a company, and some of my friends have it and love it. I think it costs like 10 bucks a month.

Well, I do't know why you would get rid of your CD player. Also, the sat. radio thing hooks INTO your radio. it's not a separate unit that plays by itself. Also, the antenna is usually attached to your rear window. It can't replace your FUBA.
I understand why guys are suggesting XM. The one thing going for Sirius is that you still don't get commercials and their sats are much better located, so you run a lesser risk of losing your signal. I'm still torn and won't buy one until the end of the year at least.

sirius is neat because for your $12.95/month, you get ALL 100% commercial free stations -- unlike XM... where you get like 1/3 of your channels (if that) commercial free...
that being said, i think xm will win.

Consider this . . .
XM is owned by Clear Channel, DirectTV, and AOL . . .
So you'll be getting the same crap music that you already get in your home town through your local gigantic media comglomerates . . .

But . . if you like what Clear Channel radio stations play . . . then it's for you.

Cool ideas... I saw it at CES this year and was very interested... There are only a few stations i would listen to though... so it's not worth it to me... I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon yet... still very new. i would let the market play itself out a lil more and take a look at where it's headed... before you know it all radio stations will broadcast via satellite... my suggestion is an MP3 deck... about the same price but for 650 minutes of your own music... IMO, that's the way to go! Cheers! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
