used for a 1988 911 front 8" back 10"
Made by DP two piece
Front size is 205x40=zr17 back is 245x40=zr17.
can i make em fit with porsche adapters? or will i need a whole lot more then that?
need to know if these will fit!!

Need to know the offset. Some Porsche wheels have stupidly low et numbers for the wide rear ends.

Ask whoever is selling them, they will know. If the offset is in the 50's then yes you can run them. if its at 2 then no you will be poking waaaay too much.

it says 40 but in the pics the fronts are 50 and the rears are 45's .. i think he misprinted

w/o offsets theres no way of knowing, its usually printed on the back of one of the spokes

I think those are the tire sizes. Offset of the wheels will be the backspacing from the hub to your fender... I think that is right??

But yeah the offset is what will make the entire wheel/tire either stick out from the fender or sit under the fender.

If they're from a 1988 turbo bodied 911 (which they look like they are). Then the answer is a definite no.

checking again, although the rim widths are pushing the limits for a narrow bodied 911, the tire sizes are those from a narrow body. I'm fairly certain they still won't work though.
I used to own a 911 of that vintage and the wheels wouldn't interchange even with adapters. The Porsche offset is far too low.

what about the turbo twist iam looking on getting some from ebay. it say the offsets are 60mm for front and 65mm for rear there 18x8 front and 18x10 rear? is there any way of making those fit??

so the smaller the offset # the more they poke out?? i always thought the bigger the offset # the more they'll poke out?? so whats the wide's wheel i can go with?? will i have any problems with 18x10? and what adaptors do i need to use for these wheels and spacing so that they sit flush with the wheel well???

You do the math. 8.5 et30 sits flush w/ the fender. You can take it from there. And go to http://www.tirerack.com and read their tech articles. They explain everything related to wheels really well and in an wasy to understand way.
