it says 40 but in the pics the fronts are 50 and the rears are 45's .. i think he misprinted

I think those are the tire sizes. Offset of the wheels will be the backspacing from the hub to your fender... I think that is right??

But yeah the offset is what will make the entire wheel/tire either stick out from the fender or sit under the fender.

checking again, although the rim widths are pushing the limits for a narrow bodied 911, the tire sizes are those from a narrow body. I'm fairly certain they still won't work though.
I used to own a 911 of that vintage and the wheels wouldn't interchange even with adapters. The Porsche offset is far too low.

so the smaller the offset # the more they poke out?? i always thought the bigger the offset # the more they'll poke out?? so whats the wide's wheel i can go with?? will i have any problems with 18x10? and what adaptors do i need to use for these wheels and spacing so that they sit flush with the wheel well???
