Ok, so I was working on my Corrado yesterday and my brother was wiring up his system in his Mistu.
A little background.... Ive been involved in Car audio since I was 12 (im 25 now) and my brother has been too. Ive seen lots of odd things... but this one caught us both by suprise....
I walk up to see how he was doing and he was just slapping the B pillar back on... then BOOM! like a gunshot and smoke all over. We were puzzled, no air bag, and smelled like gunpowder. No holes, no fireworks wrappers...and the seatbelt was tight an wouldnt move WTF?!?!
We call up mitsu, after being tossed around to about 5 people they tell us it is the belt, it has a charge in it that tensions the belts in case of side impact. now the belt is junk.
