97 GTI VR6, My engine started ticking/pinging just after I installed a GIAC chip. It kinda sounds like the valves, but i'm not too sure. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the reprogramming of the fuel; air mixture thats causing something to ping. This only happens at idle, once you give it gas it subsides. Anyone else experience such issues?

pinging should only be underload , so it could also be the injectors you have changed the plus and i have heard vr injectors click before , also most vr chips tend to pull timing (or this is what i ahve seen in the vag com

GIAC does this, i switched to TT, i didn't loose any power, and no pinging. My giac broke a pin, WHILE IT WAS INSTALLED! wtf is that about? any who, if the offer 100 octane pump like 2 gallons of that stuff and the rest 92. should be iight
