2 basic jetta questions

I'm most likely going to get a 1.8T wagon. I can't find exactly the car I want in the '02s, so was wondering if anyone knows when the '03s wagons are going to come out? I've heard both October, and maybe July, so am unsure at this point. Secondly, how much headroom does the sunroof take away? Thanks for your help,

There is no loss of head room. The sunroof is flush with the head liner. When it is opened it slides into the roof so there is no ugly extra roof hatch sticking off the top of the car. It is very smooth and functional.

My '02 wagon was built 5/01 and arrived at it's 1st dealer 8/01. I don't know when '03 production is going to start, but I would expect it to take the same 2-3 months for it to show up.
According to the specs on Emunds.com, a base GLS wagon (without a sunroof) has 38.6" of headroom. The GLX (standard sunroof) has 37.6" of headroom. So, you lose an inch. I'm not too tall, but I tend to sit very upright (I could never get comfortable in Sciroccos or Corrados), and I don't have a sunroof clearance problem even with my seat ratcheted up a bit and my hair all spikey.
