Another Coilover Thread

Alright everyone
Im having a hard decision trying to make my mind up whether to hook myself up with KW Variant 1's or H&R coilovers for my Golf. Im wanting to go real low but have a reasonable drive quality at the same time.
Ive heard KWs are the better choice when it comes to the winter time when they place salt on the roads to stop the snow building up on roads cause they use a different metal to prevent corrosion. Unfortunately this is a big concern here over in the UK.
Anyone able to help me out?

yay we are in the same boat. i called H+R yesterday to ask if they do anything to treat the rest of the coilover, not just the spring, and to be perfectly honest, the dude really didnt know what he was talking about and kept coming back to the springs being powdercoated. I was like yeah, i know, what about the rest? he said keep em clean, but that could be a pain in a blizzard with 3 inches of salt buildup on the road/coilover, now im leaning toward KW but i need pics.

get kw...i saw pics of h&r coils after a few hundered hours in the snow and salt....not a pretty site
