I'm on coils strcitctly for the handling aspect for now. Bgas are not up to the task or autocrosing, yet. When Praxis comes out w/ their MKIV system is will be a diffrent ball game. That's assuming that they actually make an ultra low kit that will allow you to sit it on the frame.
Bags are perfect for protecting your investment. Don't have to worry all the time about scraping or cracking oil pans. And w/ the push of a button you're on the frame. This is a win win situation, unless you want outright handling. But then again, w/ a MKIV you don't want coils threaded all the way down for handling to begin w/.
I'm on coils right now, I'll be on bags in the near future

But leaning towards a bag setup for next year. I keep popping inner cages on my custom axles (even the cages are custom,) but because of the drop the drivers side keeps breaking. So with bags, I can alter that when I have extreme angles to drive (IE- Getting in and out of my driveway.)
The biggest downside to bags is the extra equipment that you have to carry around.
