Wow, looks great. what are you doing for tuning? I'm not sure you'll hit 300 with a straight T3 and only 440cc injectors, but I still feel bad for your 020.
Any cam like a TT268/260 in there? why did you go so low with the compression, with forged slugs you can run a lot more timing due to the better squish area than a headspacer car. I would have stayed closer to 8.5-9:1 to make off boost more responsive.

Oops yeah, theres a 268 in there back from the n/a days.
Reason for the low compression is the ability to run more boost. Last year it was making 17psi@8.5:1 and ended up blowing due to ****ty tuning. I'd rather not bash that company on these threads, but Jeff Atwood is tuning the car now, so it'll be in good hands.

tru, a gt2871r would be a great turbo for that motor..
oh..one more thing..why 8:1 compression ?

Gunna see how it goes with the current one on there, but i have a feeling its gunna have a t3/t4 by h20.
As far as the compression goes that just allows the car more room to run higher boost levels as a bigger turbo is most likely in the near future. I'd hate to run 8.5:1 and then tear it apart again to lower it to 8.0:1. Just wouldn't make much sense.

Most people who run 400+hp with built motors go 9:1...or at the most 8.5:1 .. The difference only being that the lower compression means higher boost...so all in all if anything your still running the same power in the end.. regardless http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Well for the short term yeah I agree, but not when I plan on running a bigger turbo in the near future like I said earlier. The whole purpose of the car was to keep it 8v. Otherwise I would of used an aeb head by now.

8:1 CR doesn't make that much sense running a t3super60, besides the insaine quick spool
not hatin, just thinking 8:1 deserves 20-30psi
