Going to London in Oct , any .:R parts I should try to pick up ??

wouldn't this be a widespread problem when drivers from the UK cross over to mainland europe during their travels?

There's a mechinism for them to change the patter from \__ \__ to __ __ so they don't blind anyone if they go out of country. Unfortunetally they didn't design it to go from \__ \__ to __/ __/.

An OEM switch that does that? Interesting, that's one piece I never knew about. Anyone have a picture?

Even aside from the HID issue, it must suck to have a RHD car in England and drive to elsewhere in Europe, where it's LHD.

ok I have heard that headlight washer jets and HIds should not be together because the water and heat mixture will damage the lamp so what are the owners of the euro R32 s doing about this??
and every other car that comes with the jets and hids??

Nope, not true. HIDs actually run very cool, much cooler than standard halogen lamps. If anything, the washer system is beneficial because of the coolness of HIDs; for example, if you live in an area that gets snow, the washer system becomes important because the HIDs will not generate enough heat to melt snow and ice off of the glass.
This is why I purchased the washer setup to go with my euro bumper & HIDs. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I don't think that this would be a great idea since the British drive on the "wrong" side of the road hence you would blind opposing traffic
