Ouch. It was really a PITA...took me 15 minutes, no tools, no hot water, no lube.
Results: 3 nice-looking pedals that grip my feet a LOT better than stock...5 painful fingertips and 2 weak arms...
Worth it.
The easiest one is the gas pedal. Just put on the new cover...use your finger tips to make sure all the sides are wrapped by the new rubber.
Then it is the brake pedal. Ply it out, slide new one in with a lot of force, pull the button from below through the hole, make sure the side fits. Takes a little more force.
The clutch pedal is an @ZZ. plyed it out no problem (but it takes more force than the brake because the side plastic cover is so damn hard). It takes a ridiculous amount of work to make sure the sides are wrapped because the grooves are so deep and they are on all 4 sides. (the other 2 pedals don't have grooves at the top edge) Put one in, the other one pops out...took me a coupla breaks and I thought I was gonna lose some fingers.
Anyway. It is the first mod I have done and it takes courage. I'm glad I didn't break anything
