Anyway, I have been asked to write a proposal for sponsorship, with 2 companies on Vortex. I really want both of these to work out. Is there anyone out there who can help me? I am at a loss with this one.

Cause I need to be more baller. If I get it for free, why the hell not. I got some stuff up my sleve sir. If it all comes though, the car will look 100% different at H20. So I guess I kinda lied to you earlier

Headliner is my own dime.. Like I said I refuse to do something everone has.. All I have to say to you is star light star bright, the first star I see tonight. I with I may I wish I might

For sure. I am not sure i'll be able to pull off the stars by then. it's going to be a TON and I mean a TON of freaking work.

I doubt you wil get the parts for free. You usally just get the parts at their cost. It's still a discount but is it worth it? Personally I'd rather pay a little more money and not have to worry about putting any stickers on the car. Or having to make "x" many shows a year(many of which you might not want to attend because their outside the VW scene). I hope all goes well in your quest. I've just seen my friends go through the sponsorhip process and can't deal w/ it.

yeah a discount works just as well. As for shows, I hit up a ton of them anyway, so this isn't an issue. My car is there one way or another.

All you need to do is write up what products you are looking for and tell them why you think it would be a good idea for the 2 of you to work together. Tell them about your car. Tell them the shows that you attend and what level of advertising (stickers, making the car available to travel to a show that you may not personally attend) you are willing to do for them.

You dont get any parts for free. Now if you have a bio and have been doing many shows and winning many shows than youll have a slight chance of gettin some free stuff , but to only use at the show and not take home. It all depend how long you have been in the game. Sponsorship is not as easy as you think. You will more than likely get a part-time sponsor, meaning discounted prices on parts. min of 3-5 shows per year with the companies name on your car. anywhere from a small decal to a big logo it all depends. if you need some help let me know as i have been thru the sponsorship whole thing

I was thinkin about putting em on the outside since they'd match the IY during the day and look GLORIOUS at night

There is no way in hell the headliner will be done for H20. It will seriously prob take me a month of hard work to do. And no, I am not doing sticky glow starts, but you're on the right path.
I've never seen done what I have in store. Not really sure how it's being pulled off yet, but we'll see.
Anes, The car for the most part will be the same as all the pics you've seen. I am not really going down there to win anything. Just to have a blast.. now next year, well ahhhemmm watch out.

I have done sponsorships with H&R Twice and got two sets of coilovers for FREE! Once for my (Cough)Honda(Cough), and my 98 GTI . If you are getting parts from the actual manufacturer you get them for free most times, if you are getting them from a shop, most of the time it is a discount.
