This is the first time posting pics of my car on here. The reason I’m posting is to say goodbye, as the car is now for sale. It’s been awesome, but the time has come for me to sell it. If I contributed at all in these forums, I did so by leaving with a final and official modified airbox/intake thread for everyone to use in the future (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2837772).

Whats the new ride gonna be John?

I honestly don't know yet Rich, but definitely a beater for commuting. This car is way too loud in every way possible. It's unfortunate I can't keep it for a race car.

Very nice job on your car. I can tell that your heart was in it. Best of on the sale....

Thanks, that means a lot. I put so much thought into this car.

Rated #1 autocross tire by Grassroots Motorsports magazine. That should tell you everything you need to know, but yes, they are incredibly sticky tires. http://www.vulcantire.com is the cheapest/recommended place to buy them.

so why are you getting rid of it?

I can’t drive a car this loud everyday. The combination of the solid motor/transmission mounts, the airbox/intake, and the mid-muffler (suitcase) delete is just absurdly loud. It’s not even about loud, it’s about a ridiculous amount of drone. This car is louder than most VRs. I honestly wish I could keep it as a race car. Plus, I can get good money for it now rather than selling later. I will be commuting a lot in the near future and I should sell it now with the low mileage.

did anyone happen to get any pics of this car from show & go? i didn't want to start a thread specifically for this so now is a good chance to ask. i forgot my camera that day.
