It would be a good time to change your 02 sensor if you haven't done it for a while. Also a good hacksaw to cut off the old pipe where it goes over the axle. Other than that it's pretty much a breeze. You'll still probably miss the game cause you'll be out listening to that Borla.

GET NEW BUSHINGS FOR YOUR SHIFT LINKAGE! It's a PITA to get the exhaust off so you may as well do that job, it's like $16. Before doing the job itself, soak the connectors with penetrating oil (then don't run the car until the old exhaust is off because it'll smell. Use the good exhaust hangers (with the chain in 'em) because, well, they're the good ones. An extra exhaust clamp or two is good to have, as is a beer for after. Good jack stands or a hoist, do not work on a car that's up in the air on a tire-changing jack. Ramps work for the front, then you can jackstand the rear under the jacking points, allowing the axle to droop for easier access, but then you have to put weight on the rear wheels so you can get the exhaust clearance right. While it's in the air check for other stuff underneath. Oh - and there is a flange repair kit available if you have rusted-out flanges on the cat - sure beats replacing the cat. Good luck!

actually, you're right. The reason I'm doing the exhaust is cuz i wa sunder there fixing the shift linkage and I realized how easy it was to change the exhuast. I had the cat all the way off to get at the cup & ball.
Do i have to replace that 5" (guess) diameter ring that came out of the cat? Or can i use the old one? something is rattling now, but i think its the heat shield. I think i'll pull that shield out. ALso, what exhaust hangers come with the TT exhaust?
