Where do u dubbers go when you're just cruising around at nite? Personally, I love to just drive around for the hell of it....no particular place to go. Just to enjoy the space of my car. Also, do u ever get a feeling of enjoyment when u see another well taken care of A2? I know I do. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: late-nite cruising (bmf_72)

i head towards water... some sort of genetic/subconcious draw towards ocean for me.. open all windows sunroof etc. turn up some eagles or pink floyd or whatever mood i'm in and just fly (when i'm by myself of course.. if the girl's with me, we always seem to stop cruising as soon as we find a remote dark spot.. and listen to hump songs HAHAHAHAH that's some goooood times right there.. 2 things i love most, simultaneously.. it's better than drugs..

I like to just ride around town. I live in a small town so there arent that many A2's but I have seen a nice GTI. I like to just drive around,no real place to go. Just by a friend's house or something. Or see how fast I can get around on a straight-a-way. Its nice, no other people around really. Turn up the stereo and speed into tunes.

Kicks arse when everyone thinks its slow and they wanna race with their civics. Waiting to get my cam in then hopefully it will start paying for itself

Re: late-nite cruising (Veedubspeed04)

I have seen one (count: 1) well cared for A2 in my area of SLC. It was a black golf with round headlamps. I saw the car from a distance, while I was working (so I couldnt go oogle it)......but it looked clean.
As for driving, I havent really found my"drive" yet, but when I go out for a cruise I have a set path though. I always feel bad when I get back because my cruising speed is around 80 (mph), which has the engine wound up a little. I dont like beating my car....but it's so damn fast.
Speed is addictive.

Re: late-nite cruising (83Rabbit)

I used to cruise through LA's China Town or down Sunset to see the hotties on my way back from Pasadena to the Huntington Beach. Now that I am in PA I don't know where to go http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
But a few months back I was in NJ up by Newark Airport at the Container port under the Turnpike. It was 3 AM and I was on the Phone with my pal in LA just driving where ever, when these three Mitsubishi 3000s cruise by. All pimped out in F&TF decals and what not.
I could not catch up

Re: late-nite cruising (bmf_72)

Yesterday I rolled over to Alki (beachside strip in West Seattle), and saw one extremely nice A2 Jetta. The guy tossed me a http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif as I passed him going the other way.

Re: late-nite cruising (citat3962)

Twisty roads, even better if in the country by rivers, lakes, etc. Windows down, music off, no one around. Or, on "cruise-nights" here in Niagara, Sunday nights, down the main stretches, oogling over the american muscle.

Re: late-nite cruising (Mooz!)

People come from all around to cruise up and down Warsaw. On warm nites it's cruising central. People used to street race all the time from 12-3am out by the Airport, but that stopped about 2 years ago. Ahhh, to be in high school again and only have to worry about having the car looking good for Friday night.....
