Re: My Magna Flow exhaust allways scrapes, any tips? (hairy_armpits)

hopefully next week I'm having my tips cut and rewelded to fit a 4mo valence. I'm dropped ~1.8" and don't scrape much but it's enough to bug me. there are some on here who say that you can't reweld the magnaflow tips but it's been done before (search for Vortex ID Lugnut, he did this during the very first GB) and I plan on doing it again. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I read all the posts too.. took it to a shop, and they did it for me no prob. Only things I would research before you go it that they do work in 2.5" piping and stainless. don't be scared by the posts... took my guys like 45 to do mine. btw I have a 60mm (2.4") drop too.

any decent welding shop can weld stainless. I am going to have this done sometime also. I am not sure I will be putting on a 4-motion but I think I will go for the caractere rear......

I had the same problem so I bought the 4-motion valence and had the tips modified to fit.

Here is what they did:

Cut the original 2.5" piping and welded 2" modified piping in. Changed the tone of the exhaust slightly, but I felt it needed it anyway.
