Got into an accident- How much is my VR6 engine and Tranny worth??

The engine looks undamaged, i had mostly body damage. The radiator is dented in but nothing hit the engine. Any idea of how much i could get for it???
had 25000 miles on it

Call Momentum or RPI to see how much they are getting for them...no insurance?

I sold a 1.8t for 3 grand. That included the motor, tranny, wiring harness, ecu, turbo, dp, all piping, intercooler, cable shifter, engine covers, etc. It was all there.
You won't make much parting your car. No insurance??

I got insurance money from the car, but i can buy it back for 3600 and i'm not sure what to do with it. i kind of want to buy i and maybe part it out or just use the engine and swap it into and older lighter vw if that is possible.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO- I WANT TO HAVE A PROJECT CAR TO WORK ON

Tell me your situation. Is your car paid for? or still owe some money?
that 3600dollars are for the damage? or left over after damage is covered?
If I were you, I will use that money as a downpayment for your new ride!
Otherwsie, start looking for a good bodyshop

the car was fully insured, and was said to be totaled by the insurance company, so i got what the car was worth about (20k). but i have the decision to buy the car back for 3600$ which i am going to do cause i know i can already make some money off of it. the interior is still perfect, the engine appears to still be intact accept for the radiator and some parts in the front of the car. Can this engine be swapped into any older VW's????
