GAh! its about time i had the first problem

Alright so i just picked up my VR6 a month ago to this date. Now within the last to days i noticed high oil temps with normal driving (220 ish) Then today on my way home from a buddys house the oil was running at about 230 ish. and the water temp went up one notch on the guage. Anyone got any hunches on what is up? The only thing i did was add 1/2 a quart of 15w40 full synthetic oil in yesterday!

my car in the summer runs about 200-225 oil temp heat gauge never moves i would say the 1/2 quart of oil should help maybe a change if its about due. i would say that your water temp is making your oil hotter.
