Don't forget to pick yourself up a carseat protector to prevent the carseat from wearing down into the leather surfaces. Works wonders. My kid is now one and there is no sign of wear under the carseat.

Or... here's an inexpensive but awesome alternative. That "cushioney" type honeycomb kitchen shelf liner stuff is the shiz-nit. It' keeps the baby seat from indenting into the back seat, it is a little "tacky" so the seat won't slide.
We got that tip from one of our baby class instructors and love it!!!
