Sorry about delay - this is Kenwood MP8017, I think one of the first Kenwood models. It's very nice with factory speakers btw, I also have a 8" sub in the trunk, also Kenwood. Sounds all together pretty good

After breakin period I will be asking a lot of stupid newbie questions about the ways to optimize and "overclock" my 2.0 engine.

you arent gonna get much out of that 2.0 without dumping some cash into it... Neuspeeds supercharger ($2500 or so, loew used or in a groupbuy) will give you 150hp, and a custom turbo kit will give you 180-200+hp
even with a chip (8hp), exauhst (under 10hp), intake (under 10hp).. you arent going to touch 150hp...
