Is anyone a fan of eyelids on a Mk1 TT?

I would say pass on the eyelids, they obviously look added on to the car and take away from its clean looks. I didnt want to haul this pic back out of the achives but....

Sorry to intrude into TT territory, but personally I like black housings a lot better than color matched. And eyelids suck http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

Not a fan of eyelids, but deffinatly get rid of that orange inside and I personally am going to smoke my turn signals, dont think I really am going to paint my housing. I saw a black TT once with black housing and it just seemed like it was too much, think the grey will suit me better. I dunno will see when I take them apart.
